Lifeguard training outdoors at Wild Waterworks, part of Confederation Park in Hamilton Ontario Canada. Shows lifeguards jumping into the pool, performing rescues, boarding people onto spinal boards, throwing inner tubes, performing cpr, dealing with heat packing crazies, longboarding, sleeping, getting haircuts, and lifting massive stacks of chairs. All set to some banging tunes!

Not everyone is Ellis though, and I am sure they have different protocols for rescues compared to us.

I've never really seen rescue cans used in shallow pools. I don't like them as much, you don't enough control over the victim, but you can float more with a can

i was almost drowning wen the waves started and i was in there deep.. i yelled to help but they told me to get off the edge! lol

omg, i almost drowned here to death and I yelled for help and I thought no one heard me but some girl grabbed my hand and I couldn't clearly see her and then when I was brought to a safer shallow area, I couldn't find her :( and say thanks D: omgz

Great guards, great equipment, great facility, great tunes. It's refreshing to see lifeguards who know what they're doing and take their jobs seriously.
