"you'll see the biggest threat to the Second Amendment in history" Yes -- I'd like to see RP in the White House, but it ain't gonna happen. We all know that. Like you say, McCain is the ONLY candidate that won't be a disaster for gun owners, and the thought of Obama & Biden picking the next Supreme Court justices .... eeeeek !! No way! This is too close an election to piss away my vote, as some meaningless "statement." Either we vote McCain, or it's another Clinton nightmare, only worse.

Regardless of RP's position, he has ZERO chance in this election. If you blow your vote on him, when the election is neck-and-neck (ignore those phony media polls), and Obama gets into the White House -- with a Democrat Congress behind him -- you'll see the biggest threat to the Second Amendment in history. Principles are fine -- but at this point it'll just ensure that the worst gun banner in history gets to drive the train. Don't let it happen.

Ron Paul speaks so MUCH common sense that i would LOVE to live in a country he was leading, unfortunately he doesnt have a chance and that is a crime imo against the american citizens who deserve such a president who actually cares and wants to improve the country and quality of life. McCain sucks and Obamas worse. God help us

Speaking as a Brit and seeing whats happening in my country I can confidently say that first they'll take your guns then they'll take your freedom... "a person without the means to defend themselves is not a citizen but a subject" - can't remember who said that.
