He is a little (by far) too religious for me, but whatever. I just have trouble to believe that victory is in the Lord. I knew before my first communion that I would never believe in him, because I do not think that he believes in us.

Correction dtorsell, Martin Luther, not Martin Luther king. Two comepletely different people.
And Catholicism is the base of Christianity. Think of it like a tree. Catholicism is the trunk, while Lutheranism, Calvanism, Methodism, Baptism, and Protestantism are all branches on the tree.
And yes, I am Christian, not Catholic before anyone decides to flame me for saying my religion created all others like some idiots are known to believe

Being a Christian means you believe in Jesus Christ and his teachings...there are many denominations tho: catholic, methodist, baptist, lutheran, and on and on there are many! Other faiths include Judism, muslum, atheist, budeism, etc. (spelling errors abound, too bad)

christianity doesnt mean that you teach that there was a jesus christ. It means you are a christ follower like the "generic term" you stated. being a christ follower means you have trusted God with your life and that you will Follow his will for your life. And Jesus christ IS alive hence his resurrection. he, "...was and is and is to come the almighty..." Rev.1:8

...the end result was Martin Luther King creating a new line, mostly the Lutherans. However, this paved the way for the other non-Catholic traditions..aka Baptists, Presbyterians, etc. As long as you teach that there was a Jesus Christ then you are a Christian,it is merely a generic term for all followers of Christ. So really, lets not be so hasty shall we?

Ok. Let's get a few things straight. Christianity is divided into two main sections-Catholics and Protestestants. T his goes back to the days when the Catholic was a sort of empire and a great schism divided the church |
