I remember it was the year of Gore/Bush presidential election, and we drew the political animals of the party we liked. I was so perturbed that I was the only ( or one of the only) donkeys in my class! Maybe it had something to do with living in NC, :)

The only thing I can remember from 4th grade was the last day. We had an elementary school olympic games that day and I has the "tank" aka "fat kid" of my tug-o-war team. I was pretty much the fattest kid in the 4th grade, so we were certain our team was going to kick ass. However, I got tired half way through and fell over, losing the game for our team :(
