Back when I was a kid I caught this movie a few times on TV. A weird, quirky movie, but the ending sequence always stood out to me, even now, 20 years later. Turns out after looking around on IMDB, I'm not the only one, so I managed to rip it from my dvd copy to for everyone here. Hope you like! Get ready for a heavy dose of 80's fashion, by the way. ;) I've been getting a lot of requests for this song, so I thought I'd put it in a more permanent place for everyone to get a hold of. =) http://angelfire.com/blues/lun... Here's a link to the elusive song itself! =) Enjoy!

Bit of a continuity error with the guy with the bleached blonde hair. He starts off bare chested and wearing a white jacket. At the end he's got a grey shirt and tie on!

What an odd, funny movie. John Bigboote is were it's at. What a coincidence that Weller is a Professor. lol.

Hi there! I also caught this movie back in the days when I was like 12yo. I caught it on VHS, nice movie, but I was amazed by the ending sequence and catchy theme as well! I always stood out for me. After that, on my VHS tape, come Dino Riders Episode 01 (cartoon) with music by Chuck Levi and Haim Saban, so I always connected Buckaroo Banzai with Dino Riders - it works extremely well! I still got the VHS tape today and watch that part every now or then :)

My favorite movie of all time. And what a great, catchy theme. Thanks for the post.

Hey they copied these credits from The Life Aquatic with Steve Zisou directed by Wes Anderson. Is their nobody who doesn't copy that genius? Yes, I'm being sarcastic.

I think the ending clip was filmed at the same spot where John Carpenter filmed some of the scenes for Escape From New York. . . (the police base where all the helicopters are parked) It looks damn familar, I might be wrong.

It's one of those movies that you HAVE to watch a million times to under stand. I didn't under stand it the first few times, but after the twentieth time or so, I under stood it perfectly.
