btw, i love how people argue reality--as if they didn't see what they just saw. of course, there will always be people who grab for the other side of the argument...even if there is nothing to hold on to. the fact is, some people's medical condition makes them more susceptible to death when their nervous system is fried with a taser. and yes, cops try it on eachother, but only for a split second. you don't see THEM writhing on the ground or dying from taser use. they save that for foreign people

Today, I learnt that my best friend was killed three months ago by police officer using tasers. He was not a violent man. He checked himself into a mental institution the previous night for depression, and decided he was done the following morning. The facility called the cop to cover their ass about not knowing if he was a danger to himself or the community. Because he refused to talk to the police, they tased him four times. Funny that nobody on this report ever mentions personal responsibility or maybe this guy had any fault in his own demise.
I have a solution though, whenever the police encounter a violent mental case, have them call the ACLU lawyers and/or amnesty intl to come and handle the situation~! |
